The Crown Point Bridge was a 2,184 foot long vehicular bridge spanning Lake Champlain from Chimney Point, VT to Crown Point, NY from 1929-Oct 2009. In October the bridge was closed and deemed unsafe by VT and NY officials. The bridge was demolished by controlled explosions on December 28, 2009.
